Overview

Chancellor Award for Innovation in Online Teaching and Learning gives recognition to faculty members (full time and adjunct) renowned for excellence in their teaching, who have made a broad and deep contribution to enhancing the quality of innovative learning and teaching at Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University and who have taken a leadership role in creating both the opportunities and atmosphere for our learners to succeed.

Award Objectives

• Emphasize HBMeU’s commitment to high-quality innovative education
• Recognize faculty members who consistently show exceptional skill in promoting the use of technology in teaching and learning and providing a quality education to HBMeU learners
• Infuse notions of best practices and excellence in all aspects of work at HBMeU
• Encourage loyalty and commitment of faculty members.
• Identify a pool of talented, dedicated faculty members who can serve as faculty mentors, support other faculty development initiatives and showcase their achievements

Three faculty members, one from each school, will be presented the award by the Chancellor at the end of each academic year.
